That's all folks!

After several weeks I would like to summarize everything I have done and also tell you our point of view. At first I was a little scared by the projects that had to be done, the exams, the blog, etc. Now that I have finished all the tasks I can say that I am happy with the final result since I have put a lot of desire on it and I have tried to create different things. Perhaps the task that has taken the most work and time has been the interactive poster, but the result was very good. All the work in general has helped me to get closer to ICT, to learn resources for the future, and also to learn things that I did not know, such as all the information about the educational systems that other countries have, as we saw in the first project. These weeks have passed very quickly. I have learned a lot in the theory classes, since the explanations were clear and simple and everything was very well explained. In addition, having practiced through kahoots has helped me to better settle my knowle

Project 4

Hi😊 PROJECT 4  "BLOG" I  will now present project 4. For the elaboration of this project I used the website called: Blogger. To design the blog we follow the next steps: 1. Create an account 2. Name your blog 3. Choose a template In the blog we can write and publish our comments about the English lessons.  Also, we have published the following projects: Project 1: Infographics Project 2: Mind map and flash cards Project 3: Interactive poster Project 4: Blog design New content has been published periodically, apart from including the projects, we have added the topics related to the subject such as: Future and  conditionals, modals verbs, relative clauses, among others.  Apart from the information presented in the text, there is an extra material that we can see through links or videos. You can see the explanation of project 4 in the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-qn82cIpXk&t=5s That's it for today,  you in the next post.

PROJECT 3

Hi 😊 PROJECT 3: INTERACTIVE POSTER  Firstly, to do the interactive poster we've used 'Glogster' . It's a social network that allows users to create free interactive posters or 'glogs'. It looks like a poster, but readers can interact with the content. This means that you don't have to download or install any program; the whole task is done through an Internet space and is stored in that same space. https://edu.glogster.com/glog/skills-guide/49poovx0smk The interactive poster helps to reinforce the knowledge acquired in children through games, videos.   Then I leave you the link of project 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JENmMYyTpcA The image background that we have chosen for the interactive poster is the following, and the links have been added by following the arrows. That's it for today, see you in the next post.

CLIL Principles and Strategies

Hi 😊 In the next post we will talk about the CLIL Principles and Strategies The following two images show some of the  CLIL principles ,  t he fi rst one is about ' the 4- Cs Framework'  term  CLIL  was coined by  David Marsh  in Finland (1994): CLIL stands for Content and Language Integrated Learning, CLIL  refers to situations where subjects, or parts of subjects, are taught through a foreign language with dual-focused aims, namely the learning of content and the simultaneous learning of a foreign language.” The 4 Cs  are a crucial element of CLIL . Content: Content matter is not only about acquiring knowledge and  skills, it is about the learners creating their own knowledge and  understanding and developing skills (personalized learning). Cognition: Content is related to learning and thinking (cognition). To  enable the learners to create their own interpretation of content, it must be  analyzed for its linguistic demands; thinking processes (cognition) need to  be anal

Bilingual Education Models

Hi 😊 Today we talked about the Bilingual Education Models Bilingualism  has been the subject of study for many years. This term is associated with the phenomenon of speaking and understanding two or more languages. The term can refer to  individuals  (individual bilingualism) as well as to an entire  society  (social bilingualism). But there may be  distinctions  between ability and use of a language, or differences in proficiency between the two languages. One of the main misconceptions about bilinguals is that they are equally proficient with both languages in speaking, listening, writing, reading as well as having a perfect knowledge of their respective cultures. Bilinguals usually don’t speak both languages equally well and that is because they use each language in different contexts, activities and domains (home, school, work…).The following picture shows  different types of bilinguals  depending on their proficiency in each language:  semi-bilingual, passive bilingual, compound

Relatives Clauses: Types and pronouns

HI😊 I n today's class we talked about: Relatives Clauses: Types and pronouns  Relative clauses are used to give additional information about a noun, such as a person, place or thing.  Relative pronouns  introduce a relative clause. They include  who  for people,  that  and  which  for things,  when  for time, and  whose  to show possession. Relative clauses belong to one of two categories:   defining   relative clauses and   non-defining   relative clauses. 1 .   Defining   relative clauses add   essential   information to a sentence. These clauses give   essential   information about the subject of the sentence. They define the   person ,   time   or   thing   that we are talking about. If we remove the clause, the sentence does not make sense. 2.    Non-defining   relative clauses add   extra   information to a noun or noun phrase. This extra information is  not essential . If were move the clause, the sentence still makes sense. That's it for today, see you in the next po

Hi 😊 In the next post we are going to start designing an interactive poster. 1. We will choose the class and the theme of the poster. 2. We decide the number of activities and the type of skills we want to teach. 3. We select a program or app to create a poster,  and finally we show  and explain our work through a video. Then I leave you links where we can create our interactive posters. Glogster Mural Padlet Lino That's it for today, see you in the next post.

Project 2 Mind Map & Flash cards

HI! 😊 Below I show you the steps to follow to design project 2, which is based on designing a mind map and flashcards. First choose the topic, and search for information.   Second, I design the mind map. Third: I show the finished project. The mind map has been designed with the app   https://creately.com/es/home/  and the flashcards   t he application we have used is 'Cram', it is very easy to put images and words in it to configure the flashcards, and after that, the students can search by categories, and play with them .   https://www.cram.com  been designed with the app Then we will show you the final result: The flashcards can be seen in the following link: https://www.cram.com/flashcards/test/the-fruits-11676943 https://www.cram.com/flashcards/the-fruits-11676943 In the following video I show you project 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XzP0t9c3j0&feature=youtu.be That's it for today, see you in the next post.
